Hi, Reforge.

I’m Heather and I love connecting the dots between the pieces of information that matter.
Below is a snapshot of just a few ways I’ve done this over the years.

Sample: Visualization of interview responses Client: Administrative Offices of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) The goal of this project was to help the AOPC overhaul its intranet. I conducted in-person interviews with 40+ employees and then categorized similar sentiments. This visual shows how interview responses were directly translated into recommended features for the AOPC intranet. Full report is available upon request.

Sample: Visualization of survey results Client: Administrative Offices of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) These graphs summarize 500+ survey responses. Knowing that internal politics between departments and preferences among new vs. veteran employees played a major role in the adoption of this intranet, I parsed survey results by department and seniority. Full report is available upon request.

Sample: Process visualization Client: Winestore I mapped the existing and proposed (shown) order fulfillment process for a wine store to show how the process could be streamlined for both online and in-store orders.

Sample: Information architecture Client: Penn State College of Engineering After conducting 20+ interviews with students, professors and departments, I prescribed a new IA that married marketing and utility (the two primary objectives defined by the College) and standardized dozens of websites under the www.engr.psu.org umbrella. Full IA is available upon request.

Sample: Annotated wireframe Client: Kids Discover Online To help communicate the features and functionality of the wireframes that would eventually become Kid Discover Online , I annotated each wireframe. Each icon represents one of the 10 value props of the product.
